Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is an Barbadian artist and songwriter. She has brought us hits like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. In her prime, Rihanna has become one of the music's top artist. Her parents hail from Barbados, and she started singing at a young age. Due to the turmoil in her household and the arguments that her parents had, she turned to music. Then she realized that she was going to make a profession of an artist. At the age of 16 she joined a group of musicians and was able to meet producer Evan Rodgers. He was amazed by her talents. Rihanna moved from the United States to New York so that she could pursue her full-time singing career. The album she released her debut album soon released and Rihanna became a musical sensation in no time. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping became the hot favorites of young people, causing her to venture into films too. Young and talented, her name is today considered an teen idol as well as a model. Rihanna is also actively involved in helping charities and uses her celebrity status to benefit charities.
